This week, the @TwitterAds team is in Barcelona attending Mobile World Congress (@GSMA), one of the largest events for the mobile industry with nearly 100,000 attendees from 200 countries and more than 2,000 companies. We’re here exploring the latest in mobile trends, holding a Periscope Q&A session, and bringing a live connection to culture in Spain and MWC.
Between bites of jamón ibérico, we’re bringing some live and interesting surprises your way this week. Here are just a few of the activities:
- We’re hosting a Periscope Q&A with Ross Sheil on Feb. 24 at 6:30pm CET where we’ll discuss the Twitter Kit (also known as Fabric) and answer your questions about driving user growth and app engagement.
- Niche artists are onsite creating Vines (like the one you see above).
- Yesterday, we shared an epic @GoPro skateboard session at Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (@MACBA_Barcelona) in Barcelona. We also had the chance to ride along with BMX Simone Barraco on a bike tour of the city.
Mobile is live and a growing opportunity
Mobile gives us the power to share Tweets, video, Vines, and live Periscope broadcasts via apps on a device we all carry in our pockets. As marketers, it’s never been easier to connect live with a leaned-in audience, whether it be over a global cultural moment (or to a culture you may be visiting).
Keep up with the activity via #GoLive and don’t miss any of the moments from Spain this week.
